Civilian Speedboats are seen occasionally and were used by the civilians on the Lingshan Islands during Crysis.

Appearance

Civilian speedboats are white with a wooden deck. They are not armed and not military vehicles. Although there are six passenger seats visible, only three can be used.

Usage

In singleplayer, these vehicles are seen in various waterside civilian villages under occupation by the KPA. The KPA forces drive Patrolboats and never use the Civilian Speedboat. The boats are considerably weaker and less useful than Patrolboats, which are also fairly common. The boats can reach normal speeds up to 40 knots (46 mph, 74 km/h) and strangely, have a booster allowing them to reach up to 60 knots (69 mph, 111 km/h).

Combat

Grenades A well placed Frag grenade or Rifle Grenade will destroy a boat instantly, though this may be slightly difficult with Frag grenades.
Gunfire The boat has very little protection and gunfire will destroy it fairly quickly. Gunfire could also kill the occupants.
Missiles Any type of missile will destroy a boat. However, you may wish to save missiles for more dangerous vehicles.
MOAR Like most vehicles, the MOAR will instantly freeze the boat, which allows any damage to shatter it.
Tank cannons A single hit will destroy the boat.
