Edward "Truth" Newton was the host of "Radio Free Manhattan" during the Ceph occupation of New York City. He can be heard throughout Crysis 2 coming from radios and the cabs of vehicles.

Background

He was a marine corporal and lost his legs during a tour of duty under Sherman Barclay which led to his return to civilian life. The station he operates is most likely a form of pirate radio, or other makeshift broadcasting system, as he does not have the trappings of a normal radio host. He implies that the mainstream media is being controlled by the government and that he is telling the truth to the best of his abilities. His style is a sarcastic shock jock, using foul language and insults. However he does take the overall situation seriously.
