Iron Sights are the standard sight for most weapons. While the design of the built-in iron sight varies from weapon to weapon, its purpose as an aiming device is universal.

Tactics

Iron sights preserve a large peripheral view, allowing the shooter to have a good understanding of his/her surroundings compared to other sights.

Trivia

  • Iron sights consist of a front sight and a rear sight. The front is used to aim and the rear is used to line up the front. In reality, you must line up both sights before you can aim properly. While both sights are present in-game, the rear sight is more or less cosmetic, as it is automatically aligned properly.
