Semi-Automatic is an underbarrel weapon attachment in Crysis 2 and a default firing mode for some weapons in Crysis and Crysis Warhead. It allows the player to fire one round with each pull of the trigger.
Crysis and Crysis Warhead

Semi-Automatic is enabled by default on weapons such as the SCAR and the FY71. By pressing the "switch fire mode" button, the player can set the weapon to only fire one round each time the trigger is pulled. In game, semi-automatic firing will increase accuracy and damage.
Crysis 2 and Crysis 3Edit
In Crysis 2, Semi-Automatic is a weapon attachment for assault rifles such as the SCAR, SCARAB, and Grendel, and its effect remains unchanged from the first Crysis. Semi-Automatic cannot be used in conjunction with the underbarrel attachments. The Semi-Automatic in Campaign will increase damage and accuracy by +1 but will decrease rate of fire until 5.
